Do I need my doctors approval?

There is no prescription requirement to rent a fetal doppler in Canada. However, it is always a good idea to discuss the use of a fetal doppler with your healthcare provider.

Are Fetal Dopplers Safe for my baby?

To date there are no known negative effects on mother or fetus from use of a fetal doppler or ultrasound machine. As with any medical device it is a good idea to discuss the use of a fetal doppler with your healthcare provider.

How early can I hear the  Fetal Heartbeat?

Our dopplers are sensitive from 9-12 weeks gestation.

What is a normal fetal heart rate?

A normal fetal heart rate should be between 120-180 bpm but may vary.
