As the owner of One Tiny Suitcase I am always looking for new ways to get the word out about my Baby Equipment Rental company.
When Jill Salzman asked if she could feature the One Tiny Suitcase story on her Momtrepreneur Maven website- I jumped at the chance to connect with other like minded women.
Have a look at this feature and learn what the best (and worst) parts of running One Tiny Suitcase are. Read how excited I am to now have two locations to serve my customers in Alberta and what’s on the horizon for this growing business.
The countdown is on to this weekend’s Calgary Baby Show (October 3 & 4)!
Calgary’s Breakfast Television asked Mompreneur Magazine’s Kathryn Bechtold to join them on Wednesday morning to talk about the upcoming show and showcase some of the new and innovative products that will be at this year’s show.
When selecting products for this segment, Kathryn called us at One Tiny Suitcase.
At the show we will also be showcasing our Medela Breast Pump rentals. Not only do we carry the Medela Symphony hospital grade breast pumps (best in the biz) but we deliver them right to your door, 7 days a week. Our prices are often better than the Pharmacies and we also have a reservation system to guarantee you a pump is available when the baby arrives.
Come and visit us at the One Tiny Suitcase booth for coupons, samples and demos!
As a fellow nominee, I wanted to congratulate Shirley Broback, founder of Laughing Belly Productions for winning this year’s SavvyMom’s Mom Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
One Tiny Suitcase was included in the announcement, as a company that caught the judge’s eye (see full story). I’m really proud of the work that has gone into One Tiny Suitcase in the last 3 years and look forward to more years of growth.

My Baby Equipment Rental company is still growing and we are always adding new products and services in Calgary & Edmonton. The feedback we get from our customers is what encourages us to keep providing exceptional service!
Thank you to everyone who voted!
Yesterday I had another great experience on Calgary’s Global morning show.
I was asked to talk about Family Travel including private vacation rentals versus staying in a traditional hotel room. Here is the link to that appearance:
This was a great week for One Tiny Suitcase (www.onetinysuitcase.ca). Great in part because we were asked to participate in a news story about women in business. Part of the process involved a photographer in my kitchen taking pictures of me ‘at work’.
It always stresses me out a bit when people come to the house to see ‘my office’. As a home based business person my office is often filled with kid’s toys, coffee cups and the odd load of laundry.
For this shoot the photographer decided he wanted to start in the Kitchen. Just after applying some much needed lipstick I made sure the dirty dish towels over my shoulder were out of site. I am sure you won’t be able to see the sink full of dirty dishes right next to where I was standing either.
Hopefully it will be a good shot of some of the equipment we carry (The Rock Star Baby Stroller, BRITAX Roundabout car seat, FISHER PRICE healthy care booster seat and PEG PEREGO Prima Pappa High Chair). I’ll link to the article once it comes out!
This morning Kathryn Bechtold from the Mompreneur Networking Group and publisher of a national Magazine, was on Calgary’s Breakfast Television. She was on promoting the Calgary Baby Show this weekend at the round up center and featuring some Mompreneur products and services.
Thank you Kathryn for highlighting One Tiny Suitcase, Calgary’s premier baby equipment rental company. We will be exhibiting at the show this weekend and I will be participating in the Mompreneur Panel Saturday afternoon to talk about running a business while raising my twins.
